The lawsuit seeks compensation for the injuries caused by the dog bite.  These include compensation for pain and suffering, fright and shock, and the permanent scar left by the bite.   The case also seeks payment of the medical expenses incurred from the bite as well as for the future cost of plastic surgery to revise the scar when the girl reaches her teenage years.  No trial date has been set by the court.
